Smith Consulting & Design, LLC (The Web Smithy) wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this website. We are working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we have done

  • Added text descriptions (alt text) to images.
  • Used clear headings and page landmarks so screen readers can move through each page.
  • Added a “Skip to main content” link and visible focus outlines so the site can be used with a keyboard.
  • Labeled form fields and added descriptive names to icon links.
  • Checked text and background colors for readable contrast.
  • Turned off scrolling animations for visitors who set their device to reduce motion.
  • Made pages work when zoomed and on phones and tablets.

Known limitations

Some content comes from other companies, including the review widget and the domain search and hosting pricing tools. We cannot fully control their accessibility. If any of them gives you trouble, contact us and we will give you the same information or service another way.
